Date and time
Location
George Mason University
4400 University Drive Fairfax, VA 22030Description
Mason Entrepreneurship Research Conference (MERC) is a place for networking and shaping early stage research ideas. Our conference is open to researchers interested in the field of innovation and entrepreneurship from any discipline and interested in interacting with practitioners. Hence researchers from all academic disciplines are invited to participate in this annual event. In the past, researchers from business, public policy, engineering, education, economics, geography, health sciences, sociology, humanities and political sciences have participated in this conference.
Structure of the Conference: The conference planning committee is seeking an open dialogue between researchers and practitioners and as such the opening two hours of conference will focus on recently published books and their application to practitioners. The conference will be open to research paper presentations in the afternoon. We seek a wide-range of conference presentations representing an eclectic mix of research from diverse levels of research analysis, different research approaches and multiple disciplines (e.g. business management, education, economics, engineering, finance, marketing, fine arts, health services, history of entrepreneurship, organization theory, performing arts, political science, psychology, public policy, and sociology to name a few).
